Unitex Expands its Operations in Hartford
HEDC assisted in creating 40 new jobs in the city with its role in helping to establish the newest Unitex 19,000 square foot facility. Unitex is the market leader in providing linen and uniform rental services, as well as image apparel, to all sectors of the healthcare industry.

“This facility marks the fourth Unitex processing plant in Connecticut. The addition of this facility will allow us to further expand our market share in New England region,” said David Potack, the facility’s chief operating officer. “We are very excited about the prospect of growing in this great city.”
