Exploria

Company president says capital city is the place
to be
Leo Herbette, president of Exploria, a visual communications company
on the rise in Hartford, believes communication is at the heart
of every business activity. Communicating clearly and dynamically,
he says, is one necessary element for being successful in that business
activity. And he built his company on that philosophy.
What
began 10 years ago as a 3D computer animation studio, specializing
in pharmaceutical and medical animation, has evolved into a resource
for Fortune 500 companies throughout the country. Exploria is celebrating
its 10-year anniversary in Hartford this June by moving from New
Park Avenue into new downtown office space at one of the city’s
prime locations: a brownstone on the corner of Trumbull and Asylum
Streets.
Herbette
said he had considered moving out of the city, but, after working
with HEDC, he realized Hartford has too much to offer now, and the
future as he sees it looks even brighter.
“Hartford provides a central location, access to resources
and the setting of Connecticut’s capital city,” he said.
“In downtown Hartford, I can positively position my company
and draw upon many valuable resources that wouldn’t be available
in a suburban environment.”
