Anthem will provide
a description of the member’s coverage for their medical, prescription
drug and dental coverage. These sheets give a summary of the plans that
are current available to the employees and family members.
Anthem will provide
health related brochures for those members interested in certain
topics. These brochures include such interests as: Stress Management,
Nutritional facts (Waist Watching), Exercise, Preventing Osteoporosis,
Keeping Cholesterol in Check, and many more…

a program offering access to discounts on a variety of health living
products and services. These services include but not limited to:
Better Bedding discounts, Alternative therapy with include massage
therapy and acupuncture, fitness club memberships, vitamins and
supplement deep discounts, Nutritional Counseling, great discounts with
leading weight loss programs such as Weight Watchers, Rob Nevins’, and
Jenny Craig and many, many more. These discounts are available on line
for our members to view through our website.
Lastly, Anthem
will promote the MyHealth@Anthem website. The website
contains vast and valuable online health information resources at
anthem.com. MyAnthem@anthem is a personalized, secure online
portal that allows our members to search for network physicians, examine
claims, view membership information, change their primary care
physician, request new ID cards and check eligibility information.
Also, Anthem
recently integrated with WebMD, one of the world’s leading
sources for timely and trustworthy health and medical news and
information. This allows our members to take an active role in managing
their health.
This site contains a
Medical Condition Centers that provide useful information for more than
35 for chronic and acute medical conditions. There are self-improvement
programs for smoking cessation, healthy eating and more.
The MyHealth@Anthem
tool provides our members with an array of information. We would like to
have live demonstrations and registration during open enrollment.
