Hartford: Your Health and Your Environment

What You Should Know

Hartford: Your Health and Your Environment, a Website of the Hartford Health Department, was developed to provide information on a broad range of environmental topics that affect the quality of life in the City of Hartford. The goal of this Website is to offer an educational opportunity for Hartford residents and to encourage community participation in urban environmental public policy. The site covers the following environmental issues that are of concern for Hartford residents:

Each section covers the basic background information, describes specific Hartford concerns and activities, and provides links for additional resources. The goal is not to cover every aspect of every topic, but to provide a broad overview of the problems as they relate to Hartford and to assist Hartford residents in gaining access to the relevant resources on the World Wide Web.

The development of this Website was supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 1.
