Carlos Rivera is the Director
of the Hartford Health and Human Services Department
for the City of Hartford, CT. He oversees
seven major divisions, a staff of 388 employees
and a budget of over 24 million dollars.
The
department provides services to over 75,000 residents
throughout the city annually through its 77 sites
and over 230 contractors.
The department is comprised of the following
divisions: Administrative Services and Office of
Cultural Affairs, Community Services, Disease
Prevention and Health Promotion,
Environmental Health, Maternal, Child Health,
Recreation Services and Senior Services.
