The goal of the taskforce is to decrease the burden of cancer for Hartford residents by: increasing early detection of cancers for Hartford residents, increasing access and utilization of available cancer services by Hartford residents, and increasing cancer education programs and outreach to Hartford residents.
 
This collaborative partnership includes community organizations, cancer care providers, Faith community, businesses, Local and State Department of Health, cancer survivors, and volunteers.
