HARTFORD POLICE ACADEMY GRADUATION SCHEDULE FOR WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1, 2005.

(Hartford) - Police Chief Patrick J. Harnett will host the graduation of forty-three (43) recruits from the Hartford Police Academy on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the Millard Auditorium at the University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, Hartford.

Of the forty-three (43) recruits, who began their training with the HPD Academy on December 13, 2004, thirty-eight (38) will join the Hartford Police Department, two the Meriden Police Department, two the Bloomfield Police Department and one the Town of Suffield Police Department.  All will be required, under state law, to complete twelve weeks of field training partnered with a veteran police officer.

Honorable Mayor Eddie A. Perez will be attending and an honored guest speaker at the event.
