The HPD/Lamar partnership, in its first initiative launched today, is focusing on the capture of Darryl Crenshaw, wanted by Hartford and Enfield Police for the kidnapping and murder of Ashley Peoples. In commenting on the HPD/Lamar partnership which will also feature missing persons, Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts said, "This new venture with Lamar provides the HPD with another tool in our in our efforts to connect with the public and enlist their help in capturing dangerous criminals such as Darryl Crenshaw who threaten the safety of our entire community. I am extremely grateful to Lamar for offering their digital billboards, free of charge, to help in apprehending criminals and finding missing persons. They are providing an enormous community service to the people of Hartford, victim families, and all who care about public safety in our region."
