Hartford Police Release Video of October 29, 2008
New Alliance Bank Robbery Suspect

(Hartford) -  Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have released a video of the  New Alliance Bank Robbery that occurred on October 29, 2008 at 1700 Park Street, Hartford.

The suspect, depicted in the video, is a Black male wearing a black leather jacket with a white shirt and a black baseball cap.  He is estimated to weigh approximately 150 to 190 lbs, has a moustache, glasses, and is wearing a gold chain with a round gold medallion. 

On October 29th the suspect entered the New Alliance Bank at approximately 2:50 p.m., approached a teller handing her a note demanding that he be given a bank bag with $5,000.00, or he would kill everyone in the bank.  The suspect was last seen fleeing east on Park Street with the bank bag containing an undetermined amount of currency. 

Anyone with information on the identity and/or whereabouts of this suspect is asked to contact Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Division Supervising Sergeant Ed Yergeau at 860-757-4256, or call Crime Stoppers at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
