ROBERTS TO MAKE PRESENTATION ON ETHICAL SUPERVISION AT NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS SPRING EDUCATION AND TRAINING CONFERENCE IN HARTFORD Hartford - On Thursday, April 2, 2009, Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts will lead a workshop on Ethical Supervision at the National Association of Black Law Enforcement Officers Spring Education and Training Conference to be held at the Crown Plaza in Hartford from April 2nd through April 5th, 2009. Hartford Fire Chief Charles A. Teale, Sr. is also scheduled to present at a workshop on Police/Fire Relationships and Hartford Police Major Crimes Arson Detective Jerry Bilbo will lead a workshop on Arson Investigation at the conference.
"Is it an honor and privilege to be invited to share the knowledge and
supervisory experience I gained throughout the many years I served as a
supervisor with the Hartford Police Department. I believe it is
incumbent upon veteran leaders to share their knowledge and
learning experiences with up and coming law enforcement professionals
and with colleagues from around the country," said Hartford Police Chief
Daryl K. Roberts. The National Association of Black Law Enforcement Officers, Inc (NABLEO) is a premier national organization for men and women of color serving in the ranks of criminal justice system professionals, and has been in the forefront of bridging the gaps between the community and police since 2002.
