Identity of Enfield Street Homicide Victim Confirmed
Hartford - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have confirmed the identity of the April 3, 2009, Enfield Street homicide victim as Derrick Stephenson, 36, of Acorn Street, New Britain, Connecticut.
On April 3, 2009, at approximately 2:03 a.m., police responded to 13 Enfield Street on a report of a party shot. On arrival officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to St. Francis Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 5:57 a.m.
