NEWS RELEASE Hartford Police CONTINUE SEARCH FOR VINROY HINES
On January 1st at approximately 6:00 p.m. Vinroy Hines abducted his two biological children from 1 Albany Avenue in Hartford.. HPD JID Detectives responded to Bridgeport, Connecticut to investigate the incident after the mother was able to contact police and inform them of the abduction and the possibility that Hines, whose last known address is 37 Poplar Street, 3rd Floor, Bridgeport, had fled to that city with the children. Working with Bridgeport Police and the Connecticut State Police Troop G, detectives were successful in locating both children in Bridgeport. The children, a 16 month old male and four month old female, were unharmed and brought to an area hospital for medical evaluation. Hines, described as a Black male, 5'9, 150 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, is known to carry weapons and subsequently considered by police to be armed and dangerous.
