Hartford Police Locate Missing Elderly Man

Hartford - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Juvenile Investigative Division (JID) have located an elderly man reported missing since December 5th, 2008.  Pedro Hernandez, 70, of 124 Wooster Street, Hartford, was located by police living safely with a relative in Puerto Rico.

Hartford police had been investigating Hernandez's whereabouts since December 15th, 2008 when family in Hartford reported his disappearance.  "We are glad to have been of service to the Hernandez family and pleased that he has been located alive and unharmed," said Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts.  "I wish to  commend the detectives involved in this case for their contribution to the positive outcome of this investigation."
