NEWS RELEASE Hartford Police Release Video
of Armed Robbery; Hartford - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have secured a digital surveillance video of an armed robbery that occurred on December 28, 2008, at the Ashley Market in Hartford, and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the armed suspects. At approximately 6:30 p.m., on December 28th, 2008, two armed masked men entered the Ashley Market, approached the register, and at gun point demanded that the clerk turn over all the cash in the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the market towards Woodland Street. Although no injuries were reported as a result of the robbery, the suspect are considered armed and dangerous. Described as two Black males in their 20's, one was wearing a black hoodie, blue coat with stripes down the sleeves and around the elbow and cuff, black jeans, black Timberland boots, black face mask and was in possession of a black revolver. The other suspect was wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans, tan Timberland type boots and a white face mask.
