NEWS RELEASE ROBERTO DELEON WANTED BY HARTFORD POLICE; VIDEO POSTED ON YOUTUBE Hartford - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have secured an arrest warrant for Roberto Deleon of 193 Camp Street, Meriden, Connecticut, in connection with a December 6th, 2008 stabbing in the city's Southend. Click here to view HPD video about Roberto Deleon on Youtube On December 6th officers responded to a report of a serious assault involving a knife in the vicinity of South Street and Campfield Avenue. During the subsequent investigation conducted by the HPD's Major Crimes Division, it was determined that during an altercation an individual was stabbed in the eye. Police identified Deleon as the suspect in the stabbing and on January 15, 2009 secured a warrant for his arrest. Deleon is described as an Hispanic male, 5'11", 150lsb, with brown hair and blue eyes, is charged with first degree assault, reckless endangerment in the first degree and disorderly conduct.
