POLICE NEWS RELEASE Hartford Police Arrest Four in Connection with April 9th, 2009 U of H Home Invasion Hartford - Detectives of the Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes Division have arrested four individuals in connection with an April 9th, 2009, home invasion incident on the campus of the University of Hartford. Arrested and charged with robbery in the first degree, larceny third degree and home invasion are: Solomon Sobande, DOB 10/26/1989, of 714 Rifton Street, Elmont, New York; Evan Simon, DOB 12/17/1987, of 1268 East 57th Street, Brooklyn, New York, and Marvin Worrell, DOB 6/17/1987, of 1631 Brooklyn, New York. The forth arrestee, Bryan Crawford, DOB 3/3/1987, of 4411 Church Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, was charged with unlawful restraint in the first degree, larceny third degree, robbery first degree and home invasion. Simon's bond was set at $150,000; Crawford and Sobande's at $300,000; and Worrell's at $500,000 pending arraignment in Hartford Superior Court. Below are photos of the suspects.
Hartford Police is also continuing its investigate of a reported robbery of a non-student on April 28th which appears to have been falsely reported. -###- Contact:
