How do I get a pothole repaired?

If you see a pothole or a sinkhole developing within the roadway, call 543-8765.

If the street is raised (or low) and causes water to pond, will the city fix it?
The city will schedule repair for road defects such as these as they occur.

Road Excavation
If excavation is being done in your neighborhood and you have concern about the work, note the address and contractor and ask your coordinator to verify that the work is permitted.

Road Defects
If you see a trench that is failing, a pothole or a sinkhole, make note of the closest address/ cross street

Manholes

If you see a manhole that is defective – try to identify which utility it belongs to and a good address description.

Catch Basins If a catch basin is filled with sediment, debris or is damaged, the MDC should be notified to clean or repair it.  Again, have a good description of the location
