A RESTORED 1912 HARTFORD Steam Pumper, once part of the Hartford's Company 1 on Pearl Street, is hoisted by crane into the Old State House, where it will be part of the new "History Is All Around Us" exhibit to be unveiled in June. The truck was restored by firefighter/restorer Bill McInterney in his Middletown shop after Hartford Fire Dept. Chief Charles Teale saved the engine from being shipped to a museum in Philadelphia.
