COMMUNICATIONS
1. MAYOR PEREZ, with accompanying resolution de Authorization to apply for and receive
funds from the Federal U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) under the
Part A of the Ryan White Treatment Modernization Act of 2006, to develop and
implement core medical and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS and through its
Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and execute contracts, sub-contracts and
amendments with various providers for services.
2. MAYOR PEREZ, with accompanying resolution de Authorization to enter into contract with
Parkville Senior Center, Catholic Charities, SAND Corporation and the Salvation Army to
support center operations.
3. MAYOR PEREZ, with accompanying resolution de Authorization to accept the Operation
Safe Streets 2008 Traffic Safety Enforcement Program funds from State to reduce the
hazardous operation of motor vehicles.
4. MAYOR PEREZ, with accompanying resolution de Authorization to enter into a
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Emergency Management and
Homeland Security (DEMHS) to administer funds for four Regional set-aside projects
designed to benefit the State's Municipalities.
5. MAYOR PEREZ, with accompanying resolution de Authorization to accept funds from the
State Judicial Branch for extension to the original agreement to operate the Hartford
Building Bridges Project through certain community organizations to aid men and women
leaving the criminal justice system and help them re-enter society.
6. MAYOR PEREZ, with accompanying resolution de Authorization to transfer Outstanding
Motor Vehicle Taxes to the Suspense Book.
7. MAYOR PEREZ, with accompanying resolution de Authorization to program in
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Unspecified Local Option (ULO) funds to
be used for property management remediation and redevelopment activities in the Hartford
Redevelopment Agency (HRA) Project
