Councilpersons Calixto Torres, rJo Winch, Veronica Airey-Wilson, James M. Boucher and Luis E. Cotto will represent the Council at a Public Hearing to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 7:00 P.M., Monday, May 18, 2009.

Ordinance
appropriating funds for the planning, acquisition and construction of
renovations and improvements to Bellizzi Middle School to provide for an
Asian Studies Academy and authorizing the issuance of $13,000,000 Bonds
of the City to meet said appropriation and pending the issuance thereof
the making of temporary borrowings for such purpose. ($13,000,000).

Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article XII, of Code de Living Wage.

Ordinance
amending Chapter 2a, Article II, Section 2a-37 of Code de NBU-BOE
Provisions.

Ordinance
amending Chapter 22, Article II, Division 1, Sections 22-25 and 22-26 of
Code de Generally. (Parking fines).
5.
Ordinance amending Chapter 28, Article XII, of Code de Historic
Preservation Commission. 6. Ordinance concerning the acceptance of Dutch Point Lane.
7. Ordinance concerning the acceptance of Austin Boulevard.
8. Ordinance concerning the acceptance of Patsy Williams Way.
9.
Ordinance concerning an appropriation in the Capital Improvement Fund
for four LoCIP projects.
10.
Resolution
de Authorization to issue General Obligation Refunding Bonds.
11.
Resolution de Approval for the corner at Homestead Avenue and Sigourney
Street to be named as Jessie Smith Corner. 12. Resolution de Authorization to submit substantial amendment to the Consolidated Plan 2008 Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program-Recovery (CDBG-R) under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 upon approval by Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
