Councilpersons Kenneth H. Kennedy, Jr., Matthew D. Ritter, Pedro E. Segarra, Calixto Torres and rJo Winch will represent the Council at a Public Hearing to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 7:00 P.M., Monday, May 19, 2008.

 

1.                  Resolution de Authorization to enter into a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Matriarch Property Investors for property located at 56 Chestnut Street.

 

2.                  Resolution de Authorization to enter into a sublease agreement with Rebuilding Together Hartford, Inc. for property located at 260 Constitution Plaza.

 

3.                  Resolution de Authorization to accept a quit claim deed from the Hartford Redevelopment Agency for the abutting properties for property located at 1302 Main Street and 2 and 10 Winthrop Street (Barnard Brown School).

 

4.                  Resolution de Authorization to enter into and execute an option/purchase and sale agreement with the Tai Soo Kim for property located at 285 Farmington Avenue (Mark Twain Library Branch).

 

5.                  Ordinance rescinding an ordinance appropriating funds for the Lewis Fox School and authorizing the issuance of $21,000,000 Bonds of the City to meet the City's share of project costs and pending the issuance thereof the making of temporary borrowings for such purpose. ($84,000,000).

 

6.                  Ordinance making appropriations for various school projects aggregating funds and authorizing the issuance of $31,000,000 Bonds of the City to meet the City's portion of said appropriations and pending the issuance thereof the making of temporary borrowings for such purpose. ($92,500,000).

 

7.                  Ordinance amending Chapter VI, Division 4, The Pay Plan Section 2-350, The Pay Plan for Non-Union and Unclassified Employees.

 

8.                  Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article XVIII, Section 2-858 of Code de Group Insurance and Service Benefit.

 

9.                  Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article XX, Section 2-917 of Code de Group Insurance and Service Benefits. (Regulations authorized; filing, approval).

 

10.              Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article XX, Section 2-915 of Code de Group Insurance and Service Benefits.

 

11.              Ordinance establishing outside counsel for the Court of Common Council.

 

12.              Resolution de Naming of Keney-Waverly Field Baseball Diamond as Elliot Bert and Lou Kelly.

 

13.              Resolution de Renaming of the water fountain in City Hall as Ann Uccello Water Fountain. 

        

14.       Resolution de Erecting of a memorial monument and honorary streets signs for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mrs. Coretta King at the Corner of Greenfield and Ridgefield Streets.
