Councilpersons Robert L. Painter, Pedro E. Segarra, Calixto Torres, rJo Winch  and Veronica Airey–Wilson will represent the Council at a Public Hearing to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2006.  

1.                  Resolution de Authorization to enter into and execute a lease agreement with GE Capital or its affiliate for the purchase of various equipment for the Department of Public Works.

2.                  Resolution de Authorization to submit a listing of community programs eligible for consideration under the 2006 Neighborhood Assistance Act to the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services. 

3.                  Resolution de Authorization to execute a sublease agreement for property located at 201 Farmington Avenue (a/k/a 85 Sigourney Street) with Hartford Urban Ventures, LLC.

4.                  Ordinance appropriating fund for the Mary M. Hooker Environmental Studies Magnet School and authorizing the issuance of $4,200,000 bonds of the City to meet the City's portion of said appropriating and pending the issuance thereof the making of temporary borrowings for such purpose. ($42,000,000).
 

5.                  Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article V, Division 9b, Sections 2-286 through 2-288 of Code de Administration. (Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues).

 

6.                  Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article V, Division 7,  Sections 2-231 through 2-236 of  Code de Administration. (Commission on the Status of Hartford Women).

7.                  Ordinance concerning a supplemental appropriation in the Capital Improvement Fund for pedestrian and vehicular improvements at Elizabeth Park.

8.                  Ordinance concerning a supplemental appropriation in the General Fund For Fiscal Year 2005-2006. ($3,089,305).

9.                  Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article V, Division 12, Sections 2-316 through 2-325 of Code de Administration. (Commission on the Homeless).
 

10.              Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article V, Division 9, Section 2-277 through 2-282 of Code de Administration. (Commission on Disability Issues).

11.              Ordinance amending Code de Establishing the Downtown Special Services
