Hartford is an active member of the Connecticut Coalition for Justice in Education Funding, CCJEF.  CCJEF's successful outcome would mean tens of millions of dollars for enhanced quality education programs for Hartford students.

The Sheff v. O'Neill Supreme Court ruling and Legislative Action calls for removing the racial and economic barriers to assure equal protection for a quality education for all Hartford students.
