CHARLES J. CROCINI- DIRECTOR OF CAPITAL PROJECTS

In his present position with the City of Hartford, Charles Crocini is responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight management of the Hartford Public Schools capital projects, under the jurisdiction of the Hartford School Building Committee and the City of Hartford public building projects as assigned by the Mayor.  He has the lead responsibility over multiple in-house and outsourced professional, technical and support staffs, assigned to City project.  Charles has been serving in this capacity since April 2005.

Charles has a Master’s in Business Education, from Cambridge College.  His career spans forty plus years in the construction and facilities operations industry, with experience in planning, design and construction in aviation and computer manufacturing facilities, hospital facilities and municipal facilities.

Charles sits on a number of boards regarding construction and zoning.  He's been married to his wife Helene for forty-three years, and has two sons and one grandson.
