
DAVID B. PANAGORE
- Chief Operating Officer
Hartford
resident David B. Panagore serves as Chief Operating Officer for the City of Hartford.
Prior to becoming COO on July 1, 2009, Mr. Panagore was
Hartford’s Director of Development Services.
Prior to coming to
Hartford, he worked for the State of
Massachusetts assigned to
Springfield
and served as the City's Chief Development Officer, overseeing all
development activity in the City and before that, Mr. Panagore held the
position of Deputy Executive Director of the Springfield Finance Control
Board. He has also worked as the chief negotiator for the
Redevelopment Authority in San Jose, California, the project director for the construction of
the Boston Convention Center, and chief legal
counsel for the City of Chelsea, MA.
Mr. Panagore holds an MPA from the Sawyer
School of Management at Suffolk
University, a JD Cum Laude from Suffolk University,
a BA in Political Science and second B.A. in Philosophy, both from the
University
of Massachusetts.
Born and raised in Marlboro,
Massachusetts, David's roots run deep in Connecticut; while his ancestors
first settled in Milford, they mistakenly left and David has returned to
Connecticut correct that error.
