Lead Poisoning Prevention and Education Program Hours: 8:30-4:30, Monday - Friday, 860-543-8817 The Lead Poisoning Prevention Program provides educational information to families with young children who are at risk; provides periodic seminars on way to avoid lead poisoning in young children; performs case management and environmental inspections for children with elevated blood lead levels that have been referred by the child's primary care provider; and will provide assistance to all federal, state, or community agencies.
