Segarra today announced that he has received and accepted the resignation of David Panagore, Chief Operating Officer and former Director of Development Services for the City of Hartford since 2008. Panagore indicated that he is leaving in order to pursue other professional opportunities.

(July 31, 2012) --- Mayor Pedro E. Segarra announced today that Maribel La Luz will be joining her staff on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 as Director of Communications and New Media. Maribel, who was raised in Hartford, recently worked as Deputy Communications Director for Clyde Williams' congressional campaign in New York City.
(August 2, 2012) --- In late July, the State of Connecticut found mosquitos that tested positive for the West Nile Virus (WNV) in the City of Hartford. The Hartford Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) urges residents to take precautions against mosquito bites independently of the low risk this finding represents.
(July 30, 2012) --- Mayor Pedro E. Segarra and Tax Collector Marc S. Nelson today reminded all City taxpayers that Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 is the last day to pay real estate, personal property and motor vehicle taxes due for the first installment of the 2011 Grand List.
