(September 10, 2012) – Mayor Pedro E. Segarra today released the 6-month assessment of the Livable and Sustainable Neighborhoods Initiative (LSNI). The LSNI program, a cornerstone of the Segarra Administration, was created with the express function to restore and revitalize Hartford’s neighborhoods through targeted blight enforcement.

(August 20, 2012) Mayor Pedro E. Segarra today announced that he has received and accepted the resignation of David Panagore, Chief Operating Officer and former Director of Development Services for the City of Hartford since 2008. Panagore indicated that he is leaving in order to pursue other professional opportunities.
(August 2, 2012) --- In late July, the State of Connecticut found mosquitos that tested positive for the West Nile Virus (WNV) in the City of Hartford. The Hartford Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) urges residents to take precautions against mosquito bites independently of the low risk this finding represents.
