City of Hartford & Greater Hartford Arts Council Announce Second Round of Arts Grants

Represents An Additional $100,000 Investment To Stimulate Job Creation

(May 23, 2012) --- Mayor Pedro E. Segarra and Cathy Malloy, Chief Executive Officer for the Greater Hartford Arts Council, today announced that 14 Hartford-based artists and small businesses will receive more than $100,000 from the City of Hartford through a program designed to build creative economy jobs.

Mayor Segarra, State Rep. Ritter, City & National Officials Announce Migratory Birds Grant

$70,000 Grant from U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service

(May 19, 2012) --- Today Mayor Pedro E. Segarra was joined by State Representative Matt Ritter, City Councilman Kenneth Kennedy, other city and national officials and representatives from Trinity College, the Park Watershed, Inc., Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission and Friends of Keney and Pope Parks to announce the receipt of a $70,000 challenge grant from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Migratory Bird Program.

Mayor Segarra Transmits Consensus Budget to Court of Common Council

(May 22, 2012) --- In a letter to City Council members, Mayor Pedro E. Segarra transmitted to the Town and City Clerk his approval of the financial and non-financial resolutions adopted by the City Council at their Friday, May 18, 2012 meeting. Mayor Segarra also released the following statement.
