| SouthMeadows The South Meadows is an industrial and commercial area in the southeast section of Hartford. It is adjacent to the Connecticut River. It has a variety of private industrial, commercial, and wholesale uses. It also contains public uses such as the States Regional Market, the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority recycling facility, the Metropolitan District Commissions Yard and Water Pollution Control Plant, and Brainard Airport. It has excellent access to major interstate highways, rail service, and other transportation systems. |
