MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC SCHEDULE 

---NEWS ADVISORY FOR MARCH 10, 11, AND 12---

Saturday, March 10^th

6:00 a.m.--- (Yes, that’s the right time!)  Mayor Perez will cheer on Hartford Magnet Middle School’s “Marching Phoenix Band” as members board the bus for the City of Brotherly Love!  This award winning band--- comprised of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders--- will perform in the Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  Hartford Magnet Middle is one of three Blue Ribbon Schools in Hartford and the only band from New England invited to participate in the second largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the nation!

Reminder:  Don’t forget to “spring forward” and set your clocks ahead one hour for Daylight Saving Time!

Sunday, March 11^th

5:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will present a proclamation to Pastor Zachary Reynolds who is being installed as the new Pastor of Macedonia Church of God in Christ.  The Church was founded 50 years ago.  Pastor Reynolds will be its second leader.  The church is located at 3200 Main Street.

Monday, March 12^th

7:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will deliver his annual State of the City Address.  The event will be held in City Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 550 Main Street in Downtown Hartford.  Further details to follow.
