MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC SCHEDULE 

---NEWS ADVISORY FOR MARCH 15 AND 16---

Thursday, March 15^th

1:00 p.m.--- Hartford Mayor Eddie A. Perez joins Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts to talk to seniors about increased police visibility, accessibility, and effectiveness.  The gathering will take place at the North End Senior Center, 80 Coventry Street in Hartford’s Northeast neighborhood.

6:30 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will speak to the Greater Hartford Regional Early Care and Education Legislative Forum regarding the importance of early quality pre-school programs.  The event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 433 Fern Street in West Hartford.

Friday, March 16^th

7:30 a.m.--- Mayor Perez will be recognized at Archbishop Henry Mansell’s St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast.  This annual event will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center on Columbus Boulevard in Downtown Hartford.

10:00 a.m.--- Mayor Perez, Congressman John Larson, and executives from Comcast will be on hand for the grand opening of the new Community Computer Center at Pope Park Recreation Center.  The center is located at 30 Pope Park Drive in the Frog Hollow neighborhood.

7:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will provide words of inspiration at the HPD Recruit Class Graduation Ceremony.  The celebration is at the Marriott Hartford Hotel Ballroom on Columbus Boulevard in Downtown Hartford.
