Saturday, March 24th
11:00 a.m.--- Hartford is wearing the green! Mayor Eddie O’Perez will march in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Irish eyes will be smiling on the Capital City and Mother Nature’s forecast looks promising. The 36th annual event starts at the State Capitol and ends by the Memorial Arch in Downtown Hartford.
12:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez’s invites you to the fun-filled Family Fair. Learn and share information about programs that support Hartford families. There’s plenty of free entertainment and activities at City Hall, 550 Main Street in Downtown Hartford.
Sunday, March 25th
10:00 a.m.--- Mayor Perez will welcome members of Phillips Metropolitan CME Church for its Friendship Sunday. Then Rev. James Walker will lead the congregation in prayer. The church is located at 2550 Main Street in Hartford’s Northeast neighborhood.
Monday, March 26th
9:45 a.m.--- 5th Graders Go To College! Mayor Perez says it is never too early to start thinking about college. This year, the fun, excitement, and learning process kicks off at the University of Hartford at the Gengras Student Center. U of H President Walter Harrison and Superintendent Steven Adamowski will join the Mayor as all Hartford 5th graders get to visit a college campus.
6:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez once again takes his State of the City Address on the Road! The next neighborhood stop is at Naylor School, 639 Franklin Avenue in the South End. Public safety, youth services, and education will be just some of the highlighted topics.
