MAYOR PEREZ NAMES ACTING HHS DIRECTOR

(April 5, 2007)---Hartford Mayor Eddie A. Perez has named Carlos Rivera as Acting Health and Human Services Director and Acting Health Director for the city.  Mr. Rivera is assuming the responsibilities vacated by Ramon Rojano, who left last month to take the position of Human Services Director of Wake County, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Mr. Rivera is a Hartford resident who has been serving as Deputy Director of HHS for the City of Hartford since October of 2004.
