MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC EVENTS

 

---NEWS ADVISORY FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 12TH---

 

9:00 a.m. --- Mayor Eddie A. Perez says that it’s never too early to plan your educational future and your career!  The Mayor will talk to eighth graders about how the future is now!  It’s all part of Career Day at Bellizzi Middle School.  The event takes place in the school auditorium, located at 215 South Street in Hartford’s South End.

 

10:30 a.m.--- Mayor Perez will provide words of encouragement to approximately 75 students grades K-6 and help them celebrate their excellence in science.  The Mayor will also talk about the importance of math and science in our global economy.  The presentation of certificates takes place in the auditorium at Betances School, 42 Charter Oak Avenue in the City’s Sheldon-Charter Oak neighborhood.

 

6:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will be recognized as a past honoree and continued supporter of the National Conference for Community and Justice’s Human Relation’s Commission.  The Awards Banquet will be held at the Hilton Hartford in Downtown Hartford.
