NEWS CONFERENCE REGARDING ORDINANCE FOR CONVENIENCE STORES WITH EXTENDED HOURS

---REMINDER NEWS ADVISORY FOR MONDAY, MAY 7^TH---

4:00 p.m.--- Mayor Eddie A. Perez, Chief Daryl K. Roberts, Assistant Majority Leader Calixto Torres, Councilman Jim Boucher, Majority Leader rJo Winch, and community leaders will discuss an ordinance regarding convenience stores that are open for extended hours (10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.).  Public safety, vibrant neighborhoods, and responsible business owners and residents are all ingredients for stronger communities. 

The news conference will be held in City Council Chambers, on the second floor of City Hall and will be carried live on Government Cable Access Channel 21.
