NEWS ADVISORY: MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC EVENTS

Saturday, June 23^rd

12:30 p.m.--- Mayor Eddie A. Perez congratulates the West End Community Center on its new Youth Services program that includes opening a new technology lab.  The Mayor will stop by the Open House that helps connect families to education and information.  The celebration starts at 11 and the Mayor is expected around 12:30.  It all takes place at 461 Farmington Avenue near Sherman Street.

Monday, June 25^th

11:00 a.m.--- Mayor Perez will attend the Groundbreaking Ceremonies of “The Gateway”--- a mixed-use residential and retail development.  The City of Hartford provided the land for this project.  The groundbreaking for the 57 apartments plus commercial development takes place at 1450 Main Street in the City’s Clay Arsenal neighborhood.
