Friday, June 29th
1:30 p.m.--- Promoting homeownership and introducing another small business in Hartford! Mayor Perez will help cut the ribbon for the official opening of The Andy Ross Group. The event begins at 1:00 p.m. with the Mayor speaking at 1:30 p.m. This mortgage consultant group is located at 555 Franklin Avenue in the South End of Hartford.
4:30 p.m.--- Home grown “food for thought” in the West End! The Mayor will talk about the importance of locally grown produce in terms of economics, community, and health. The West End Farmer’s Market is located at the United Methodist Church, 571 Farmington Avenue.
Saturday, June 30th
1:30 p.m.--- A mother’s prayer. Mayor Perez will welcome members of The Church of God Pentecost for their “Mothers in Clamour” event. This church has worked closely with congregations around the state, many of these Latino churches. This prayer session will be held in Bushnell Park in Downtown Hartford.
2:00 p.m.--- Giving back is the greatest gift. Mayor Perez will talk about the important roles that faith and giving play in the community. Members of The Church of God Mission Board of Babcock Street will serve food at the South Park Inn Shelter at 75 Main Street in Downtown Hartford.
3:00 p.m.--- Thanksgiving is year-round! Mayor Perez shares words of reflection at the Sacred Heart Parish Mass of Thanksgiving. The Mayor is a member of this church and will speak on how the youth group was such a positive influence in his life. The Mass and Reception are being held at the Hotel Hilton on Trumbull Street in Downtown Hartford.

Monday, July 2nd
8:00 a.m.--- First day of summer school! Mayor Perez, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Education, will visit three schools to encourage students to improve and excel. He will go to Burr School (400 Wethersfield Ave. where students from Kinsella will also attend due to school construction), Moylan School (101 Catherine St.), and Rawson School (260 Holcomb St. where students from Annie Fisher will also attend due to school construction).
