TOP MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC EVENTS FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9^TH

10:00 a.m.--- Take the pledge!  Mayor Perez will help lead the City of Hartford in promoting conservation by encouraging residents and employees to purchase energy- efficient light bulbs and fixtures.  The news conference and sales event take place in the City Hall Atrium, 550 Main Street in Downtown Hartford.

 

1:00 p.m.--- Preparing Hartford students for 21^st century jobs!  Mayor Perez will talk about the importance of an educated workforce when he addresses the Connecticut Chapter CPCU Society (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters).  The luncheon address will take place at Avon Old Farms Inn located at the corner of Routes 10 and 44 in Avon.

 

2:30 p.m.--- Promoting Hartford’s finest!  Mayor Perez will congratulate a lot of familiar faces and names who are members of the Hartford Police Department and who are being honored with a promotion.  The ceremony will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hartford, 315 Trumbull Street in the Downtown neighborhood.

 

4:30 p.m.--- Hartford means business!  Mayor Perez is scheduled to stop by the one-year anniversary celebration of the “Texas Roadhouse” coming to the Capital City.  The restaurant is located 539 Flatbush Avenue in the City’s Behind the Rocks neighborhood.
