 FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10^TH IN HONOR OF VETERAN’S DAY

Hartford salutes its Veterans!  In honor of Veteran’s Day, City Hall will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2006 and will reopen for business on Monday, November 13^th.  City services for Friday, such as trash and recyclable collection, will be delayed until Saturday. 

 

Mayor Perez says, “This is a time for us to pause and thank our Veterans for their enormous dedication and sacrifice.  It is also a time to thank our local companies that have gone above and beyond the call of duty in support of their employees in uniform.”

 

Please note:  As part of a long weekend, Mayor Perez will be out of the office on Monday, November 13th to enjoy time with his family.  While he is away, however, Chief of Staff Matt Hennessy and Chief Operating Office Lee Erdmann will be in continuous contact with the Mayor on all the major happenings in the Capital City.
