(September 1, 2006)--- Hartford Mayor Eddie A. Perez is reminding drivers to take extra care on the roads, especially now that school children are returning to class on Tuesday, September 5th. 

 

Today, Department of Public Works crews are putting out signs that read:  “Keep Kids Alive, Drive 25.”  These signs (in English and in Spanish) will be placed near city schools and adjacent crosswalk areas.  This is a continuation of the Mayor’s safety initiative that began in 2004.
