MAYOR PEREZ UNVEILS HARTFORD’S 3-1-1 SYSTEM

Join Mayor Eddie A. Perez as he unveils 311 to the Capital City on Tuesday, September 12th.  By dialing these three easy numbers, Hartford residents will have easy access to non-emergency city services and information, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Most Hartford lines will be able to dial direct.  However, people with cell phones and computer-activated phone lines would have to dial 757-9311.

 

The Lagan Company’s “Frontlink” has provided the search engine that makes 311 run.  Tom Mazur, Vice President of Sales from North America, will also share a few words of support at the news conference.

Mayor Perez says, “Effective and efficient customer service is crucial.  Streamlining requests is essential for good government.  I said it in my State of the City Address and I’ll say it again:  We don’t need 20 calls to fill a pothole.  We just need to fill it quickly and properly.  311 will cut down on duplication between departments and help us get the job done fast and get the job done right the first time.”

 

Mr. Mazur adds this statement:  “We are pleased to deliver Frontlink to a city that’s dedicated to delivering excellent service to its residents.   With the city’s new Lagan-powered 311 Call Center, the residents of Hartford will now be able to make more effective and efficient contact with their government.  We are delighted to announce that the City of Hartford is using our solution, and we are confident that both the residents and the local government will realize increased efficiencies from this implementation.”
