MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC EVENTS FOR NOVEMBER 4 AND 5

SATURDAY, Nov. 4

 

6:30 p.m. --- Mayor Eddie A. Perez will welcome attendees to the 75^th Anniversary of the founding of the Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in the Capital City. Approximately 500 people are expected to attend this popular social event organized by Hartford’s Greek community. This event takes place at La Renaissance, located at 53 Prospect Hill Road in East Windsor. 

SUNDAY, Nov. 5

1:00 p.m. --- Mayor Perez will participate in the Connecticut Veterans Day Parade and thank America’s servicemen and women, past and present, for their dedication and sacrifice. This is New England’s largest Veterans Day Parade and it will take place, rain or shine, in Downtown Hartford.      

 

3:30 p.m. ---- Mayor Perez will welcome Jessica P. Odle, Council General of Barbados, and the Royal Barbados Police Force Band to the City of Hartford. This historic event has been sanctioned by the Barbados Government in recognition of the 40^th Anniversary of Barbados’s independence, and it will take place at Lewis Fox Middle School, located in 305 Greenfield Street in Hartford.
