Sunday, Oct. 21^st

11:30 a.m.--- Mayor Perez will stop by the St. Augustine’s Church/Barry Square Block Party. Hundreds of people are expected to turn out for this 14^th annual community celebration that takes place at St. Augustine’s parking lot at the corner of Campfield Avenue and Barker Street.

3:30 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will attend the awards ceremony for the Culinary Institute Chili Cook-off.  This is a competition amongst firefighters from all across the city.  There are 16 entries and the winner will donate their proceeds to the charity of their choice.  3:30 is the cook-off; 4:30 is the awards ceremony.  The Culinary Institute is located at 85 Sigourney Street in the Asylum Hill neighborhood.
