MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC EVENTS

10:30 a.m.--- Mayor Perez will join other dignitaries at the Inauguration of David G. Carter, Sr., as Chancellor of the Connecticut State University System.  The event begins at 11:00 a.m. in Welte Hall at CCSU in New Britain.

 

6:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will praise and thank Susan Rottner of Bank of America for her outstanding contributions to the community at the Broad-Park Development 7^th Annual Awards Gala.  The event will take place at the Marriott Downtown Hartford.  Ms. Rottner served as Co-Chair of the Mayor’s Commission to End Chronic Homelessness.

 

7:15 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will welcome leaders of the United Church of Christ to the City of Hope and Opportunity.  The Mayor will address why it is important for people of faith to more engaged in the lives of Hartford’s youngsters.  This event is the 139^th Annual Meeting of the Connecticut Conference of United Church of Christ.  It will take place in Ballroom B at the Connecticut Convention Center.
