MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC EVENTS

---- MEDIA ADVISORY ---

8:30 a.m. --- Mayor Eddie A. Perez will attend University High School of Science and Engineering’s  Banner Signing Ceremony.  Approximately 100 ninth graders will sign a banner that will be on display all year.  It is designed to inspire them to graduate from high school and college.  The event will take place in the auditorium, located in 30 Elizabeth Street.

11:00 a.m. --- Mayor Perez will be a speaker at SINA’s Cityscape Homes Phase IV Groundbreaking Ceremony.  This groundbreaking ceremony also celebrates neighborhood revitalization and increased homeownership. The event will take place at Colonial Street located between Washington and Broad Streets.

3:00 p.m. --- Mayor Perez is scheduled to speak at an Open House Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.  This event celebrates the restoration of an ornate Victorian Style home to create an affordable homeownership opportunity.  This house was built in 1875 and is known as “The Mark Twain House of the North End.”  This event will take place at 20 Belden Street.
