MAYOR PEREZ’ S PUBLIC EVENTS

12:00 p.m. --- Mayor Perez will attend the Vinnie Russo Way Street Dedication Ceremony at Essex Street in Hartford. Vinnie Russo was one of the founding members of the Southend Ladies Democratic Club of Greater Hartford, one of the oldest political organizations in Connecticut. 

1:00 p.m. --- Mayor Perez will be a guest speaker at the opening of Trinity College’s Urban and Global Studies Center. This is the first center to be created at a U.S. liberal arts college to have an integrated urban and global focus. The Urban and Global Studies Center will work to strengthen the long-standing mutually beneficial relationship between Trinity College and the City of Hartford.
