---NEWS ADVISORY FOR OCT. 31^ST---

3:00 p.m.--- Hartford Public High School earns accreditation.  Mayor Perez, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Education, will applaud this accomplishment and will inspire students, educators, and parents to build upon this positive step.  The Mayor will also discuss the importance of a positive learning environment as well as his support for long-term strategic educational goals.

Joining Mayor Perez at this event will be:  Dr. Steven Adamowski, Superintendent, Dr. Zandralyn Gordon, Principal of Hartford Public High School, Accreditation Co-Chairs Frank Giannini and Melinda Wilmot and members of the Board of Education.
