Mayor Perez will highlight the important role that preservation plays in the revitalization and economic growth of Hartford.  An excellent example is the “Victorian Lady” which was saved from demolition when it was relocated to a vacant lot in July of 2004.  Mayor Perez will detail how Hartford is rich with architectural gems that need to be preserved.  Now there is a tool that will satisfy both preservation objectives and respect people’s budgets.
