MAYOR PEREZ’S PUBLIC EVENTS SCHEDULE

NEWS ADVISORY:  JUNE 13th

 

 

Hartford Mayor Eddie A. Perez will be flying to Washington D.C. tomorrow (Tuesday) to work to secure more Federal funding to help increase homeownership here in Connecticut’s Capital City.  Since 2002, 1350 residents have become new homeowners.  The Mayor will be attending discussions sponsored by the Fannie Mae National Housing Advisory Council.

 

Wednesday, June 13th

 

7:45 a.m.--- Mayor Perez will take part in a roundtable discussion on the preservation of affordable multi-family homes.  The meeting is part of the Fannie Mae event in Washington D.C. and it will take place at 3900 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W. in the Great Hall.

 

6:00 p.m.--- Mayor Perez will present proclamations in celebration of a very successful year for student athletes at Weaver High School.  The ceremony takes place at the Doc Hurley Field House at the high school that is located at 415 Granby Street in the City’s Blue Hills neighborhood.
